Disclosure of Your Information
We do not sell information to third parties. We may give information about you to the following companies and organisations who may use it for the same purposes as set out above:
- to employees, agents and other approved third parties to administer any accounts, products and services provided to you by “Lledar Ltd” now or in the future.
- to anyone to whom we transfer our rights and duties under our agreement with you.
- if we have a duty to do so or if the law allows us to do so.
We refer in paragraph 4 above to the fact that we may carry out credit reference agency searches to obtain information about you. These agencies record those searches. In addition to the purposes listed above, we may also share information about you and the conduct of your account with credit reference agencies, other lenders and relevant third parties including our legal advisors and debt recovery agencies.
In carrying out the activities specified in this policy, we may transfer data to reputable companies outside the European Economic Area. Whilst we take reasonable steps to ensure that your information will be afforded the same level of protection as that required of us under applicable UK data protection legislation you should be aware that countries outside the European Economic Area may not offer the same level of protection of personal data.
We are required to provide you with clear and comprehensive information about the cookies which we use on the site and to obtain your consent to the use of the cookies. Here is a list of cookies that we use. We’ve listed them here so you that you can choose if you want to opt-out of cookies or not.
- _session_id, unique token, sessional. Allows Shopify to store information about your session (referrer, landing page, etc).
- _shopify_visit, no data held. Persistent for 30 minutes from the last visit. Used by our website provider’s internal stats tracker to record the number of visits.
- _shopify_uniq, no data held. Expires midnight (relative to the visitor) of the next day and counts the number of visits to a store by a single customer.
- cart, unique token, persistent for 2 weeks. Stores information about the contents of your cart.
- _secure_session_id, unique token, sessional.
- storefront_digest, unique token, indefinite. If the shop has a password, this is used to determine if the current visitor has access.
We will treat all of your information in strict confidence and we will endeavour to take all reasonable steps to protect your personal information. However, we cannot guarantee the security of any data you disclose online. You accept the inherent security risks of providing information and dealing online over the Internet and will not hold us responsible for any breach of security unless this is due to our negligence or wilful default.
Credit Card Security
The payment phase is hosted by Sagepay.
As one of the Worlds largest and most well established payment providers on the Internet, we have chosen to entrust our security arrangements to them.
This site uses the Sagepay system for online credit card transactions. Sagepay is the most popular online payment system in the UK. All payment information is transmitted in secure mode and is encrypted using the highest levels of online security encryption available. Firewalls within the Sagepay system prevent any unauthorised access to your information. Credit card details are captured within the Sagepay secure system, and no card details are stored on your computer or computers belonging to My Leather Manbag. When your order has been placed, you will receive an email from to confirm the payment has been successful.

Our site is hosted on Shopify Inc. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. Your data is stored through Shopify’s data storage, databases and the general Shopify application. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall.
Payment: If you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, then Shopify stores your credit card data. It is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your
purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted.
All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.
PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.
